I know what is like to struggle with anxiety. That feeling like there’s an earthquake running through your body which seems to come on at the most inconvenient times for seemingly no reason whatsoever. I know the frustration of wondering “what is wrong with me?” and “Why can’t I just be like normal people?”
One day I decided I was tired of feeling this way. I didn’t want to avoid social situations, events or presentations anymore. I was tired of being held back in life by this feeling I hated so much and I decided that I was going to stop letting it hold me back. I was going to find a way to feel better or die trying.
First I began by reading any book I could find on the topic. The books contained some helpful tools but were far from the solutions I was looking for. Next I placed myself into the situations I had previously avoided and attempted to face my fears. This helped a little but also created some embarrassing situations with its own problems.
It took me a couple years until I discovered the three-pronged approach which completely changed my life. This approach works simultaneously with managing one’s emotional state while changing thoughts and limiting beliefs as well as implementing the correct behaviors. This approach reinforces itself and when you gain momentum the anxiety begins to fade.
Since I discovered the three-pronged approach my career took off. Now instead of dreading presentations I looked forward to public speaking, even going out of my way for the opportunity. Instead of being reserved when it came to relationships, I set myself free to connect with all people and improved my social life. Not only that, but now without the distraction of the anxiety I sleep better at night and I am able to achieve my goals when it comes to health and other areas of your life.
Now for nearly a decade I have been helping professionals take my three pronged approach and use to conquer their anxiety.
